Individual public comment submission is a paid feature available to Active Civic Participant members and above. Members draft comments on specific agenda items or staff directions through our platform, and we format and send them to the city clerk before deadlines so they become part of the official record. Free users can participate in pre-meeting community surveys, including optional survey comments, which provide aggregate resident input to Council.
Surveys are quick input collected from registered users before each meeting and may include optional short text responses. We deliver aggregate survey results to Council before they vote, giving them a snapshot of resident sentiment. Paid individual public comments are detailed written positions on specific agenda items or staff directions — your name and position go on the public record as part of the official meeting documentation. Both reach Council; they serve different civic purposes. Surveys show breadth, while paid public comments show depth and put your specific reasoning on the record.
Power User gets helpful AI features like meeting summaries, issue comparisons between meetings, and quick topic briefs — without the full research assistant.
Active Civic includes agendas and staff reports. Power User adds meeting minutes, bookmarks, major developments, staff directions, and city financials during and after your launch trial.
AI summaries are included with all plans — they help you quickly understand agenda items. ARIA is a full research assistant available to Civic Power User (10 conversations/month) and Multi-User License (50 conversations/month) subscribers — it can answer open-ended questions, search across years of documents, and build comprehensive dossiers.
ARIA can answer questions like "How has Councilmember X voted on housing issues over the past 3 years?" or "What's the full history of the Fountain Ave project?" — sweeping across agendas, minutes, staff reports, and disclosures.
Civic Intelligence includes 500,000 tokens/month (~150 research queries). If you need more, overages are billed at $0.10 per 1,000 tokens. Most users never hit the limit.
For Intelligence tier, you can continue using ARIA with overage billing. All other features (AI summaries, Light AI enhancements, document access) continue working regardless of token usage.
Last month alone, WeHo City Council made decisions on parking rates, development permits, and budget allocations totaling $4.2M — most residents found out after the fact.
Don't let another important decision slip by unnoticed.
Did you know? Only a few residents submitted comments on last month's budget reallocation. When residents speak up in volume, Council pays attention. Take the survey, then make your specific position part of the public record.
